Imperious Rex
Imperious Rex began as the brainchild of bassist/guitarist programmer George
Grant in late 1997.
Impressive hooks, bleak soundscapes and stomping grooves made the debut CD "Freakseason"
released on the now defunct J-Bird Records lable a bombastic blast of industrial
tinged metal mixed with gothic sensibility. The band has appeared on several
compilations as well and is currently recording second CD, at Planetgrey Studios
titled "The Return Of The King" scheduled for 2004. A re-issue of
"Freakseason" with new all new artwork and extra tracks from
the original sessions will also be made available.
