Planetgrey Studios is conveniently located in the East Village of Manhattan

Plantgrey is a full service Recording Studio. We've recorded demos and full CDs. We have also done projects which we recorded the audio and the client mixed at home or elsewhere. We've also mixed clients pre-recorded work. We have also helped songwriters produce their work. Need some ideas to spice up that song or need help finishing it? We can help… We have worked with artists from Relativity Records, Digital Hardcore Recording, Warner Chappell Publishing, Geist Records, Pendulum Records, Projekt Records and Middle Pillar (just to name a few)!

Other services include:

ADAT to Digital format transfers (.wav etc) - Did you record on an ADAT and now you want to transfer your recording to mix or remix in a computer? We can do the transfers! We can also bring in VS880 expanded VS1680 and VS1880 files saved to disc or zip and transfer those.

Live Videos - Do you have a bunch of live footage and would like to make a "quick video" with a song? We use Vegas Video to turn out some pretty impressive videos. We'll even come to your shows and shoot with two or three digital cameras!

Live Show Recording - We can record up to 16 separate tracks LIVE at the venue when you perform. Direct from the board (if the club equipment allows) or we can bring our own mics or a combo of both!
